COBOL or C++ on IBM POWER? Still coding by hand?
If you have COBOL applications on AIX and are not taking advantage of Rational’s compilers and the new Developer for POWER, you are not taking full advantage of the system, and could be compromising the performance of your application. Time is money, and if you can get a job done faster, that performs better, why are you still hand coding and analyzing it all?
